EECE has a research turnover of approximately £2M per annum ranging from fundamental transformative research to the applied research that underpins Knowledge Transfer.
Our research strategy is based on critical mass and focus on fundamental and applied research in a number of key areas within Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Applied Physics. A particular emphasis is to target the interface between these classical disciplines, building structures which facilitate science-based and fundamental engineering research, with widespread and strong two-way links to industry and a commitment to knowledge transfer.
